Deborah, Rebekah’s nurse, died, and was buried under the oak below Bethel; so it was named Allon-bacuth.
Many people don't realize but Rivkah's death is not explicitly mentioned in the Torah.
When the Torah reports the death of Devorah, the death of Rivkah is alluded to as well.
Rivkah was secretly buried at night so that Esav wouldn’t attend, and by extension, so that people would not be able to comment about him and his evil ways at the funeral.
Some say that Rivkah’s death was hidden because Yitzchak was blind and couldn’t leave his home.
Rivkah was buried by her Hittite neighbors because Yakov did not attend her funeral. Esav also did not attend her funeral because he hated her for having helped Yakov get their father’s blessing.
