Then Judah went up to him and said, “Please, my lord, let your servant appeal to my lord, and do not be impatient with your servant, you who are the equal of Pharaoh.”
Yehudah after attempting to take out his sword unsuccessfuly, then let out a war cry with so much spiritual energy that Dan’s son, Chushim, sensed it all the way in Canaan and came instantly to be with the brothers.
Yehuda and Chushim then let out a war cry that caused 300 Egyptian aristocrats to fall to the ground in terror. This look of terror remained with them for the rest of their lives.
The cry also caused the cities of Pithom and Ramses to be totally destroyed.
(Bereshit Rabbah, Yalkut Shimoni, Yalkut Reuveni on exodus 1:11)
