Amram took to wife his father’s sister Yocheved, and she bore him Aaron and Moses; and the span of Amram’s life was 137 years.
Yocheved marrying Amram is one of only 3 instances where the Torah mentions the wives of the leaders.
This is to show that their offspring came from two illustrious parents.
The other 2 instances are: Aaron marrying Elisheva, the sister of Nachshon from Shevet Yehudah, and Moshe’s wife, Tziporah.
