Make a Dedication

Rabbi Eytan Yehudah Dzikowski
What was Moshe’s mistake when hitting the rock?
And Moses raised his hand and struck the rock twice with his rod. Out came copious water, and the community and their beasts drank.
On one side of Moshe’s staff was inscribed the Name which had the power to dry water and had been used to split the Red Sea.
On the other side of the staff was inscribed the Name which had the power to bring forth water.
But in his anger against the Jews for rebelling, Moshe mistakenly first hit the rock with the wrong side.
