Make a Dedication

Rabbi Eytan Yehudah Dzikowski
How did they find precious stones in the desert?
Then take two lazuli stones and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel:
Since the Bnei Israel didn't have the required stones in the desert, the Clouds of Glory went to the Pishon River and brought the precious stones needed for the ephod and choshen.
Others say, that they came down with the ma'an.
(Meam Loez, Ohr HaChaim)
