Make a Dedication

Rabbi Eytan Yehudah Dzikowski
Is the name “Yaakov” supposed to be spelled with or without the letter “vav”?
Then will I remember My covenant with Jacob; I will remember also My covenant with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham; and I will remember the land.
This is one of only 5 places in the Torah that the name Yaakov is spelled with the letter vav.
This corresponds to the 5 times that Eliyahu’s name is spelled with the letter vav.
Yaakov in fact, “took” these letters as a “pledge” from Eliyahu - that he announce the coming of the Mashiach.
