Make a Dedication

Rabbi Eytan Yehudah Dzikowski
Was Moshe’s son the right heir supposed to succeed him?
So a thousand from each tribe were furnished from the divisions of Israel, twelve thousand picked for the campaign.
The Bnei Yisrael did not want to attack the Midianites when they heard that Moshe would die after the war. They did not want their victory to be at the expense of their leader’s life.
