How we do know that the Oral Law is part of the overall Torah?
At the same time the LORD commanded me to impart to you laws and rules for you to observe in the land that you are about to cross into and occupy.
This is one of the sources for the existence of an Oral Law. The Oral Law was taught by Hashem directly to Moshe and is an integral part of the Torah.
