Make a Dedication

Rabbi Eytan Yehudah Dzikowski
What unusual behavior did Moshe display on the day before receiving the Torah?
I the LORD am your God who brought you out of the land of Egypt, the house of bondage:
Moshe did not speak with the Jewish people the day before receiving the Luchot in order to teach them a lesson in modesty.
Modesty is a prerequisite to merit receiving the Torah.
(Shabbat 86; Rabbi Yitzchak Miwarky)
