Rabbi Eytan Yehudah Dzikowski
Who is the person who will be singled out?
The LORD will single him out for evil from all the tribes of Israel for misfortune, in accordance with all the sanctions of the covenant recorded in this book of Teaching.
The phrase “single him out” has the same numerical value as the name “Yerovam” (the king), who divided Israel into two kingdoms and encouraged idol worship.
