Rabbi Eytan Yehudah Dzikowski
What unusual events occurred during the 7 days of mourning for Metushelach?
For in seven days’ time I will make it rain upon the earth, forty days and forty nights, and I will blot out from the earth all existence that I created.
During the seven days of mourning for Metushelach, a number of unnatural events occurred.
For example, the sun rose in the west and set in the east, and people experienced great pleasures generally reserved for the righteous in the World to Come.
