Make a Dedication

Rabbi Eytan Yehudah Dzikowski
How was Yosef, a chid, able to hide his mother from Esav?
Next Leah, with her children, came forward and bowed low; and last, Joseph and Rachel came forward and bowed low;
Although mothers are generally positioned in front of their children, Yosef stood in front of his extremely beautiful mother, Rachel, to shield her from Esav’s desirous gaze.
He in fact, miraculously grew taller in order to be able to do so.
(Rashi, Targum Yonathan, Bereshit Rabbah 78:10)
