How did Yosef know the Egyptian language?
וַיֹּ֤אמֶר פַּרְעֹה֙ אֶל־יוֹסֵ֔ף אַחֲרֵ֨י הוֹדִ֧יעַ אֱלֹהִ֛ים אוֹתְךָ֖ אֶת־כָּל־זֹ֑את אֵין־נָב֥וֹן וְחָכָ֖ם כָּמֽוֹךָ׃
So Pharaoh said to Joseph, “Since God has made all this known to you, there is none so discerning and wise as you.
The angel Gavriel taught Yosef 70 languages overnight and added the letter heh to his name, calling him Yehosef, which gave him the spiritual power needed to retain his newly acquired knowledge.
The next day, Pharaoh discovered that Yosef knew one more language than he did, Hebrew. Pharaoh begged Yosef not to reveal this fact, fearing that he would be deposed in favor of Yosef.
